my life right now includes loving on my babies and husband and this:

getting the boys ready for their first day back at preschool next week

writing my letter for meet the teacher

getting ready for the buddy walk

reading ch. 12 for our sunday school class

working out 5 days a week

sewing a thank you nap mat

praying fervently

pre planning for bryces bday

reading a great book by rick johnson

getting ready to be a bridesmaid

squeezing in as many fun playdates as possible

and that is just this week.

sleep is overrated. i love my life. blessed for these amazing opportunities! sitting around and watching things happen is just not my thing :) life is way too short to be boring! i am thankful for every single moment. thankful that my kids LOVE to fly by the seat of their pants like mama (except during nap time).

things should slow down next week. so maybe a real post then...

1. Do you prefer to write in cursive or print?

oh my handwriting is so super lazy! i do not write nearly enough...so its gets pretty sloppy-ola!! its a mix between the two though = lazy

2. Do you prefer to shop online or go out and actually
go to the stores?

in the stores!! everytime i try and shop online...i fill up my basket and then have immediate buyers remorse and X out lol!

3. Would you prefer to go camping or stay in a motel?

i have a dream to take all the boys for real camping when they are old enough...but for now...we are the hotel kind of folks

4. Do your prefer going to the movies or staying
home to watch one?

we love going to the movies on date night! however, we have just as much fun snuggled up at home. bryce and i have special dates on wednesday mornings and often we see a movie...that is such a special treat!

5. Do you prefer a shower or a bath?

i love taking a nice relaxing bubble bath...but unless i chose to bathe at midnight...then a shower it is!

Braxton Lee

My precious baby is 8 months old today (insert sobs). It seems like just yesterday that Justin and I were shocked with the news that we would be having a third baby! I wish he would stop growing...but for now I will atleast brag a little about what he is up to.

1. eating things like tortillas, muffins, ritz crackers (his FAVE), apple slices, grilled chicken and whatever else he can reach from his new big boy seat at the table.

2. pulling up on all the furniture (and my leg)

3. babbling and singing to himself

4. LOVING his family. His eyes just LIGHT UP when any of us come into the room. He is even starting like his crazy big brother brody lol! They are really starting to play together so sweetly!

5. Has 3 1/2 teeth. I know I know...you cant have half of a tooth. BUT its just barely peaking through so for now he has 3 1/2 teeth because 4 teeth makes him sound too old.

He is still the happiest and cuddliest and chubbiest baby in town. He is SOOOO good and loving. I cannot imagine not having that little chunkster around.

Hoo are you tuesday...

1. Do you sing in the shower or car when no one else is listening?

No...only because showers are business. When you have 3 little boys running around there is no time for lolly dollying and singing. You get in, you get clean and you get the heck out to see who stuck a raisin up their nose or wrote their name on the wall. However, I do sing my heart out in the car :)

2. Do you have a nickname you go by now or growing up?

I am Misty Mac

3. Do you speak another language?

I speak Toddler-ese and I know lots of sign language (the real kind not the mean kind lol)

4. Where is you favorite vacation spot?

On the water! The beach @ a besties beach house, the river @ the moore's place, the lake @ horseshoe bay resort or pool!

5. What do you cook the most for dinner?

we are big chicken and asparagus people. i know...boring.

ORLANDO

So, I had the most FABULOUS time at MOPS Convention in Orlando. We stayed at the Gaylord Palms Hotel and it was absolutely beautiful. We got to see Mandisa, The Go Fish Guys (got their autograph for Bryce), Christy Nockles and more! We laughed, praised, prayed and learned. I even got to go to Disney World for an afternoon!!!

Hoooo are you Tuesday!

1, What are some of your favorite summer activities?

oh what a great question! i love having a little more freedom on the calendar, river trips, the beach, feeding the ducks, swimming with the kids, putting the water hose on the trampoline, shorts, free movies (eventhough that was not totally on our agenda this summer lol), movie in the park in boerne, visitors! and the list goes on...
2. What is your favorite flower?

stargazer lily and calla lily (these were my wedding flowers) i also love birds of paradise
3. What is your favorite meal of the day?

oooh this is a tough one. i am into oatmeal right now...so it would have to be breakfast. delicious rolled oats or steel cut oats with a dab of brown sugar and some raisins is a delightful way to start the day!
4. How much time do you spend on the computer each day?

my kids do not really let me sit down and have a specific amount of computer time a day...so i just jump on for a minute or two here and there throughout the day...and then i spend an obsessive amount of time on it late night scouring crafty blogs when i should be sleeping
5. Do you have any pets?

not really. we love having dogs...but if you know us...you know that never really works out. in our family life together we have had a westie named lacie, a lab named turtle, a mutt named panda, a lab named noodle and a cat named louis. where are they now??? who knows.

now we have a beta (that santa brought) named rocky.

here is my new to me bookshelf for bryce's room! i traded my Fickey Five friend this shelf that she no longer needed for a weekend watching her silly little puppy peanut!
